Violet Raftery is a junior Broadcast Journalism major with a concentration in Sports Media and minor in Spanish. Prior to Carolina News, she interned in the Milwaukee Brewers Broadcast and Publications department, served as Student Gamecock Television's Sports Director, interned in promotions and reporting for the Lexington County Blowfish of the Coastal Plain League, was a Sportswriter for the Daily Gamecock and a member of Garnet Media Group's Marketing Team. Currently, she is the Social Media Marketing Director for Juiced! Cold-Pressed Juicery.
