“A sign of the times:” S.C. experts weigh in on effects of this week’s pipe bomb threats

Since Monday, ten Democratic politicians and critics of Trump have been targeted with suspicious packages containing pipe bombs. S.C. experts do not think that the bomb threats will have much effect on the upcoming midterm elections, but do see the incident potentially narrowing the political divide in the future.

DHEC had a press conference this afternoon to discuss the state's vaccine rollout. Nick Davidson, a spokesperson for DHEC, said, "Vaccine hunting clearly does occur. Whenever there is not enough of something people are going to look for where they can get it as soon as they can."
