Richard T. Greener finally takes his place at USC

On Feb. 21st USC is unveiling a 9-foot statue of Richard T. Greener between Thomas Cooper Library and the Student Health Center. Greener was a “pathbreaker” who became the first African-American Harvard student as well as the first African-American professor at the University of South Carolina.
